Cardinals jacket

Does Xavier's Cardinals jacket look vintage?! Because it was one that I wore when I was little. I was so excited when I discovered it while cleaning out our house and realized it would fit him now! (Does he look a tad bit energetic in these photos?!)

Please let me play...

Xavier LOVES to play basketball. Here he was staring longingly at the (10 foot!) basketball hoop outside, hoping that his mommy would take him out to play.

On the visit at Grandpa and Grandma's house, Xavier alternated telling Buddy, "Dit, dit, dit!" and "Arf, arf, arf!"

Crash Davis

Meet Crash Davis, Aaron, Katie, and Rylee's new dog. We had the privelege of meeting him for the first time last week!

On the Farm

One of the highlights of our trip to Missouri was visiting the farm in Frohna. Xavier went on his first tractor ride with Grandpa and Erica and we enjoyed visiting with his great grandpa and great grandma! I don't have any pictures of this, but Xavier kept throwing his balls to Great Grandpa over and over--I don't think he realized (or cared) that he was never much of a ball player or liked playing ball that much. But who can resist Xavier's smile? :)

Aunt Ca Ca

As I've written before, Xavier's favorite person besides his mommy and daddy must be his Aunt CaCa. He smiles just thinking about her! Here are a few photos of the two of them together from spring break.

These are right after Xavier's first tractor ride--he was cold and so he cuddled with Ca Ca.

Workshop

Last Sunday while I was in St. Louis, I attended a workshop on building a photography business. We were able to follow photographer Kelly Manno on an actual shoot and shoot along with her. You can see more photos on my photography blog.

More Talking

My sweet boy is starting to talk in little phrases! Today he said, "Bye, Da" of times when Matt dropped him off at the babysitter's house. Then I took Erica with me to pick him up and he said to Erica, "How you doing?" (I promise I'm not making that up!!!)

When I went into his room this morning, he immediately started asking for "Ca Ca"! My parents could hear him calling her two floors away in the basement! (I think Daddy's feelings were a little hurt because usually he's asking for him). Xavier is a tad bit obsessed with his Aunt (Eri)Ca Ca and she is so good to him and is always playing with him! Thanks, Ca Ca!

First Track Meet

Last Saturday Xavier and I went to watch Daddy coach the first track meet of 2009. It never got over 40 degrees that day and actually the second half of the meet got cancelled once the snow started! But Xavier had so much fun, all bundled up, running around, and playing in the dirt for hours. Here are some pictures of him cheering with Daddy.
