What I found out at the park today...

Six year old boy to me: "Did you know that when you're done being pregnant, you get scars on your stomach?"

Well, it didn't happen the first time around, so hopefully not this time either.

And I guess it's true that there are no secrets with children, huh?!

This is how a 3 day state track meet leaves you feeling...

...EXHAUSTED! (wearing Daddy's shirt from the state meet and collapsing onto his blanket a whole hour before normal bedtime)

Congratulations, Rebekah!

Congratulations to Xavier's godmother, Rebekah! Today she is graduating from Valparaiso University! We are proud of you and hope you have fun with your family today.
This picture is from almost exactly a year ago when Rebekah came out to visit us...we had so much fun and were hoping to repay the favor this year and be there for her graduation, but between moving and pregnancy, it didn't work out :(

As of 10:30 tonight, our house is under contract!!!

Some random pictures from the last few days...

Matt was eating ice cream straight from the carton. When Xavier saw him, he ran and grabbed a spoon from the drawer and joined him!
Yesterday when we got home, I unbuckled Xavier from his car seat. As I grabbed a few things from the trunk, he climbed through the middle of the car and soon was driving!
Xavier usually likes to hold onto and feel a blanket with fringe while he drinks his bottle (by the way, we are down to just about 3 ounces and it will be finally going away soon!) But a kitty made a nice substitute for his fringe blanket on this night! Lulu didn't even mind.
Here's one of Diego. The haircut isn't so bad anymore!
