Xavier stayed with my parents while we went to California for the funeral. My mom told me that he ate grilled cheese really well at their house, so I made some for lunch today. While I was making it, Xavier looks in the pan and says, "Yay, Mommy! You did it!" Apparently he was questioning my ability to make grilled cheese like Grandma's.
We also ate edamame at lunch today and he was referring to them as "mommy peas" at first. :)
